WHAT WE DO

We deliver programmes for children and young people living in areas of high deprivation to increase their future opportunities.

OUR VISION

Every community is a strong and cohesive place where every child is supported
to succeed.

OUR MISSION

To support communities to collectively define, deliver and sustain the change they need and want for their children,
young people and families.

OUR APPROACH

We are a backbone organisation, using a community-led, collective impact approach.

OUR OUTCOMES

To track impact we use a shared measurement framework that covers three levels of impact.

Child & Young Person, Community around the child and Systems & Structures.

What is Collective Working?

CEO & Right to Succeed founder, Graeme Duncan, explains what collective working is and how we use this approach in all RTS programmes to deliver impact.

Our role in place-based change

How we work

We are a backbone support organisation, working to help communities create sustainable place-based change.

As the backbone we provide all of the following:

We bring together residents, professionals and decision makers to co-design a 3-5 year programme that is bespoke to the needs of the local community.

Understanding our work

We are a place-based change charity

This approach recognizes that different places have unique challenges and opportunities, and seeks to address them in a holistic and collaborative manner. Place-based change can involve a range of stakeholders, including residents, businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations and can encompass a variety of strategies, such as infrastructure improvements, social programs, and economic development initiatives.

We use a collective working approach

This approach emphasizes the importance of shared measurement, continuous communication, and mutually reinforcing activities. By working together, organizations can achieve greater impact than they could on their own.

We serve communities

Through a combination of targeted interventions, community engagement, and capacity building, we strive to create a supportive environment where every child and young person has the opportunity to fulfill their potential. We are proud to collaborate with a diverse network of partners, including local authorities, schools, youth organizations, and businesses. Together, we pool our expertise, resources, and networks to drive meaningful change and provide young people with the support and opportunities they need to flourish. By working in partnership, we can amplify our impact and create sustainable, positive outcomes for the communities we serve.
